Nose Filler Before and After: Results and Safety

Nose filler before-and-after results depend heavily on what's actually achievable for your specific nasal shape — and on understanding the real, if uncommon, risks involved.

What Realistic Results Look Like

Filler works best for smoothing a dorsal bump, softening a bulbous tip's appearance, or correcting mild asymmetry, and for adding height along the bridge. It does not reduce the overall size of a larger nose — a common misconception worth correcting upfront, since filler can sometimes make a nose look larger by adding volume rather than smaller.

Swelling: What's Normal

Mild to moderate swelling in the first few days is expected and part of why results should be judged after at least a week or two, not immediately after treatment.

The Serious (Rare) Risk Worth Knowing About

In extremely rare cases, filler injected into a blood vessel in the nose can cause serious complications, including vision problems. This is a genuine, if uncommon, risk specific to nasal filler given the area's blood supply — which is exactly why nose filler should only be performed by an appropriately trained practitioner who understands this anatomy, not treated as a casual walk-in procedure.

Longevity

Most nose filler is expected to fade within 6-18 months; results still visible after two years are less typical and worth discussing with your practitioner if that's the case.
